Grouped together to survive, they face increased risks of disease, hunger, cold and abandonment.
In the face of this crisis, volunteers and animal shelters are making heroic efforts to provide shelter, food and care. Nevertheless, they face enormous challenges due to overcrowded shelters and a crying lack of resources to deal with the growing number of animals in need of assistance.
As part of our ongoing mission to help victims of the conflict in Ukraine, the SWISS UNITED RECONSTRUCTION FOUNDATION (SURF) is actively involved in supporting animal shelters.
Our aim is to provide safe shelter and care for war-affected animals, while also offering resources and support to the shelters that work tirelessly to protect and care for these vulnerable creatures.
We strive to improve the animals’ living conditions by providing them with the medical care, nutrition and comfort they urgently need. Join us in our efforts to make a tangible difference.
